A variety box of our most popular training treats for puppies
It’s so important to keep training treats to hand through those early months. And to keep variety to ensure pups stay engaged and really want their rewards
One of my top tips - keep a small rattle pot of reward treats and shake it to inform them they have earned a reward (a small screw top tub is perfect). It’s very important to ‘mark’ the correct behaviour as they do it and often not possible to actually give the treat at that time. Rattling the treat pot (and saying a reward phrase such as ‘good boy/girl’) will provide that ‘marker’ for the correct behaviour you are training them in (such as potty training)
The training treats box includes:
- 125 or 250 gm bag of Milos Training treats (all natural)
- 100gm bag of dried sprats (great for a larger treat, makes a good bedtime snack)
- 1 packet of JR Pure Turkey Sticks (easy to pop in your pocket and break down into size of treat required)
All treats suitable from 8 weeks, supervise pups when feeding treats and ensure water remains available. Adjust meals if feeding higher quantities of treats when training to maintain a healthy balance
